    TOWA 6" Schmidt Newtonian Telescope

    This Schmidt Newtonian design is not seen very often.  It has some of the features for a Schmidt Cassegrain design, namely higher power (longer focal length) in a short tube without the complexity of requiring the large primary mirror to move for focusing. This telescope would work well on one of the "GOTO" mounts listed under the "MOUNTS"section of this web site.
